Up until i was about 14 i had the most thick and frizzy hair. As you can imagine, i hated it and every day wished for thinner straighter hair that was easier to manage.
Then i found the wonderful invention that was the hair straightener! or so i thought! over the next few years i straightened my hair almost every day, i had layers cut into my hair, even got the hair dresser to use a thinning scissors on it to take out a bit of the weight. Then i at 17 i moved away for college and found the freedom i only ever dreamed of. So, with no nagging mother, i decided to dye my hair! I started off with dark browns, moved onto golden red tones, even at one stage it went a little orangy blonde (not my best look!). I dyed it every 6ish weeks sometimes i left it longer than that.
Of course, my mother always said, dont be straightening and dying your hair or you'll end up with nothing left!

Ya see, now at 22 i think she was right cos even after i wash my hair gently loads…. and i mean loads of hairs just come out in my hands. When i brush my hair, again gently and very carefully, it scares me the amount that comes out. Ive cleaned my brush about 3 times so far this week!
Is it all down to GHD! i always use heat protection products and condition every time i wash my hair.
I have to say that over the last two years i have dramatically cut down on the heated appliances. Especially in the last year i barely use them at all. I used to have hair below my shoulders but it started looking too thin so i cut it thinking that it would pick up and thicken, if anythin it just gets greasy and limp within a couple of hours. i usually just tie it up now.
I also tried not conditioning every time i wash it and it just feels dry and limp!
Im at a complete loss with what to do. Its my brothers wedding in 5 months and im a bridesmaid.
I dont think the pictures would look good with a bald girl!

Also, my parents, especially my mum, have really thick almost wirely hair, she always had to have it short cos she couldnt stand it when it was long! she went grey at a very young age, so did my brother. When i was 17 i noticed a few strays too. Im not very grey only when you look up close and even then its not so bad.

I now wish i had my lovely thick frizzy hair from when i was 14!
(Isnt it great when you grow up and realise your mistakes!) :)

PLease help

is this totally/partially self inflicted
is it a side effect of being on dianette (on it for 4 years now) or Roaccutane ( was on it for bout 6 months bout 2 years ago).
or is it something else??????
Lack of iron
Rubbing/massaging my head when thinking/stressed
I really havent a clue as you can probably tell

Please help if you have any advice

You may want to go to a doctor and see If it is a health issue. My daughter is 23 and I also told her her hair was going to fall out because since 9th grade she dyes her hair all the time. It Is healthy and soft, she may just be lucky, but also you should have a Professional advise you, .you may also be using to many products to try and repair. My daughter is not prego but, her stylist told her to take prenatal vitamins, which when i found them I almost had a heart attack!! Thinking she was pregnant! and then she explained..It helps her hair grow.
