I can only write with my left hand and not my right hand but i use my right hand for sports (such as ball hockey, baseball, darts, bowling, tennis), use right handed scissors (I can't use left handed ones). my right hand seems stronger and more coordinated than my left (other than using it for writing).
so am i left handed or right handed??

Generally it's based on the hand that you write with, especially since lefties are often forced to learn how to use equipment made for right-handed use. Since pencils can go in either hand easily, your writing tends to reveal more about which hand is your natural hand. Most would call you left-handed.

I've known people who have the opposite problem- they write with their right hand and do everything else with their left, usually because they were taught to write with their right hand in school. I guess the reverse could manifest too, that you are generally right handed but have been taught to write with your left. it depends on in what proportions you use right to left. based on what you described, i'd say you're dominant right handed

i know in most cases you are labeled by the hand you are writing with..but I would go with the hand you go with most…the dominant one..the one you use most of the time..not only writing..

Ambidextrous means you are good with both hands. Doesn't necessarily means you write with both hands. So, i have to agree with the first answer that you are ambidextrous

Left handed. The hand you write with is a stronger indicator because the your ability to do it with each hand differs strongly. I myself can play sports with both hands, but I write with my right hand and therefore am right handed.

Ambidextrous! I have been learning the Greek sign language for a couple of years now and i use my left hand much more than the right, but i use my right one to write. I was confused by the fact, so i just asked my psychology instructor about it and she said i am ambidextrous.
