I'm just wondering because i've never had it done before rather than getting my hair trimmed . I've heard the razor scissors are bad for your hair? One of the hair styles I wanted uses these scissors but if it's going to damage my hair I don't think i'd like to do it .

it can if it isnot done right…. like is its done too much or too close to the scalp

It may be from the hair cut place… they may not dis-infect their scissors or shears … its very dry red spot… its not a ringworm….. It may be another type of fungus.. Just wondering did this happen to anyone else that got a hair cut and experienced this problem… IM a GUY!!! the type of haircut is a fade so they have to cut close near the scalp and I think I might have "picked" something up from other clients if they did wash their shears before servicing me???

Use over the counter fungus treatment like Lamasil. Creams are best-they stay where you put them. Then either change barbers or insist that they clean the scissors right before they use them on you. That is a wee bit disgusting.
However, don't be too quick to blame, I had a fungus on my upper chest with NO exposure to others, it just happens sometimes. I had the Doc look at it because I was worried it was some kind of cancer or something! Also had one on the face right under my nose from my nose spray which contained steroids. It takes a number of treatments to clear it up. Be sure to follow directions. If it still doesn't go away-see the doctor or dermatologist.
Live well and do good.

I have extremely thick, coarse hair, and I've seen this device before.

I think it looks like a combo between a comb and scissors.
I actually want to know the name, so I can possibly purchase a pair.

Walmart sells these in the hair care section with all the hand mirrors and hair brushes, but it is best to watch a professional do it at least once before attempting, otherwise you might take out too much hair or do it unevenly. But good luck.

ok i am a lfty and i use my left handd for everyhting except for eating and also using the mosue because the cursor is made for right handed people

anwya in sports for example( softball) i can throw and catch with my left hand but i cant do both

o when im catcher should i have the glove on my left hand , but then i cant pass it to anyone w/o tkaing off my glove

my q is can u get used to using ur right hand

also if ur a lefty tell me the challenges u face

like tryin to cut a circle using right handed scissors ,lol

for the softball thing, you want your stronger hand your free hand. so wear your glove on your right and just practice with it like that! you will waste so much time taking off your glove, by that time the runner could advance a base!
if you practice with your right hand, then of course you can get used to it.

my biggest challenge as a lefty and also one of my biggest pet peeves EVER is when im writing and my hand smears everything i write!! and then i get pencil on the side of my hand. omg it annoys me so bad. also, notebooks and stuff like that are made for right handed people, because my hand always hits then coils or the binder part. its very annoying. and another thing, i eat/write with my left hand and if im next to a right handed person we bump arms the entire time and it is veryy annoying!
