Left Handed Scissors for Hairstylists

Note: Song for this chapter should be Fifteen by Taylor Swift. I’m not putting it in the video b/c i KNOW its guna get a copywrite claim anyways so ya…

Recap: I heard someone climbing up the makeshift ladder. I collected the pieces of my window and put them in a pile in the corner of my room. I grabbed the biggest piece-which was pretty long and sharp- and held it in my hand not knowing who would come in from the window.

I was holding onto that glass like it was my prized belonging. I saw a hand come in from the window then heard cursing from its touch with the sharp glass. Okay I waited for this person to come in. I saw his head come in from the window. It was Nick. I clutched the glass harder with my good hand – until I felt my warm blood spread across my hand and drip to the floor. It took him about 3 minutes to get in, avoiding the glass shards. When he did get in, he turned on the light switch and he saw my hand and the red stains it left on the floor.
“What the do you want,” I asked ed. “Its 4:50 in the morning.”
“I wanted to say Im sorry.”
Thats it; seriously; what a classis. I thought about Vince. I tightened my grip on the glass piece. He stared at me.
“At 4:50?”
He nodded. It was obvious that he was oblivious to my past, as was anyone else was. The memories, which I would refuse to think of, came back; the way Vince would hug me, kiss me, the way that he would act innocent when he did something that would ‘pretend’ hurt me, and worst of all, how he cheated on me, and how I caught him.
“No,” I whispered, not loud enough for Nick to hear, due to my memories. I dropped the piece of glass that was now red instead of shear. Nick was still gawking at me.
“How am I supposed to believe anything now when the present is all hysteria?” I only managed to whisper loud enough for him to hear.
He didnt answer.
I looked at my bloody hand. Nick took a step closer and unconsciously, I retreated. He noticed and stopped moving.
“No.” I said louder this time. “Not again.”
That was all I said. It looked as if he nodded but I was no way to be sure. He turned for the door. He stopped.
“Look Christina-” I cut him off by raising my wrapped arm. He pushed my arm down and continued holding his hand there. “If youd let me talk, I can explain.”
I sighed “Ok; talk.”
He took in a breath; probably saving time so he could think. “Alana came onto me.” He said exhaling, his hand still around mine.
“Really; Then why were you kissing her back?”

He paused. “I dont know.”
I nodded. “Exactly; and you have the nerve to come into my room, at about 5 AM, shattering my window, and you expect me to give you a second chance?!”
He didnt answer. I just nodded, took more like yanked – my hand away from him, and turned the lights off. I stumbled into my bed. I felt a weight change in the bed and a warm arm come over me. I tried to shrug him, that didnt work. I tried to move his hand off me but my wrapped arm didnt do much help, and neither did my bloody hand which was now throbbing and stinging. No matter how many times I tried to get his arm off me, he wouldnt move. I sighed. Right before I fell asleep, I thought I heard him say ‘I’m Sorry’. But sooner or later, I DID fall asleep not knowing what to expect in the morning.
