Kevin’s POV

I couldn’t believe my eyes, Matt was here!…alive! I could hear him sobbing into my shoulder,
“how are you here? Dad said he’d taken you away!” I said, suddenly angry, ergh! how could I believe the man that gave us the worst childhood I could ever imagine,
“he told me you left because you couldn’t s..stand the s..sight of me,” he choked. I pulled him away to look at his appearance, he was much thinner since the last time I saw him but his cuts and bruises had obviously healed in the absence of my Dad. Although, the scars were still visible on his face and neck. I could feel the guilt rip through me as I saw everyone exchange looks of confusion in the corner of my eye,
“I’m sorry,” I began to cry, if I’d known…how could my Dad do this!? I was the only one to find out about his existence since I accidently walked down one night as my mum was taking him to the toilet and plus I was his only source of food for about a year until my Dad lied to me. Although, when I was sick one time, I saw my mum sneaking down there with a loaf of bread and cheese,
“why didn’t you tell me I had two other brothers?…a twin? even mother didn’t…” he was cut off by Joe making a snorting sound,
“her?! our so called mother…please!” he said angrily. I gave him a ‘shut the up’ look and he fell silent. Matt looked puzzled,
“although she never let me out from the basement, she still kept me alive by feeding me after father had secretly disappeared,” he said, trying to keep his voice even. Joe coughed slightly,
“psh! you make her sound nice, the last thing I remember hearing from her is…get ready for it!…”DEMONS! DEMONS! SATAN! LUCIFER! SONS OF THE DEVIL!”…yeah, so…we were loved!” he said sarcastically as we all looked at him like he was insane.

Charlotte actually looked like she wanted to burst out laughing,
“you couldn’t of said that a bit quieter Joe?” she said smiling, he shrugged,
“just making a re-inactment, pretty close don’t ya think?” he said, leaning against the wall. I rolled my eyes and looked at Matt,
“so I think you gathered we had crappy childhoods, well…Nick more than us…” I trailed off as me and Joe locked eyes, then looked away ashamed. Matt looked scared,
“what exactly did he do to all of you?” he asked, I looked at him,
“well, it’s not what Dad did, it’s what I…we did,” I looked down at my hands and I heard Joe shuffle his feet uncomfortably.
“Could I possibly see Nick now? I want to explain to him my story,” Matt asked quietly, I looked over at Amelia,
“you didn’t do anything did you?” I asked her, realizing why I had left Nick to come out here. She looked embarrassed,
“I..sort of..tried to kiss him, thinking he was Nick,” she looked like she wanted the ground to open up and suck her in and I clapped a hand to my forehead…this whole twin thing is going to get complicated,
“I’m sorry if I scared you,” she said to Matt. He smiled weakly,
“it’s okay and do you erm…want your daughter back?” he looked down at Lily. I hadn’t noticed she was there,
“oh right…come here Lily, this isn’t your Daddy. This is Uncle Matt,” Amelia laughed and held her hand out for her. Lily looked up at Matt, still not letting go of his hand,
“but you look like my Daddy,” she said innocently. Matt smile had gotten bigger by the word ‘Uncle’ and he chuckled slightly,

“we’re twins, brothers who look the same,” he said simply.
Lily nodded and quickly hugged his leg before going back to Amelia,
“yay, I have another Uncle to play with!” she squealed happily. We all laughed and Matt’s smile got wider,
“so do you want to meet your twin?” Joe said to him and his broad smile suddenly turned into a frown. He gulped,
“y..yeah,” he looked so nervous,
“don’t worry…” I said as I put a hand on his shoulder and lead him towards the door,
“…it’s gonna be alright,” he nodded and pushed the door open. I looked over at Nick, expecting him to see him sitting there but instead see him struggling to get up from the bed,
“Nick?! what the are you doing?!” I said, running around Matt and over to Nick. I had noticed that Matt froze when he saw that Nick did indeed look exactly like him,
“Nick, you’ll do yourself some damage, the wires are still connected to your skin dumbass!” I said pushing him back onto the bed. He scowled at me,
“well if everyone hadn’t of ing left me, I wouldn’t have felt the need to get up and see where you were!” he folded his arms across his chest sulkily. I rolled my eyes and looked at Matt,
“you sure you want to meet him?” he joked which made Nick suddenly look up. He gasped and pointed to him,
“what the…you…huh?…why the do you look like me man?!”…
