1. Choose an eyeliner appropriate for your eye color . Browns, gilded bronzes, and plums are great for lighter eyes and dark eyes can pull off a more drastic black backdrop. Silvers and charcoals look best on green and blue eyes; rich red browns for blue eyes and golds for green eyes. *Note: Red tints make eyes look redder and blues make them whiter. Make sure your liner complements the color of your shadow.

Consider the type of look you’re after . Pencil eyeliner gives your eyes soft definition, while liquid versions offer precision and drama. There is a wide variety of powder liners available, and you can also moisten dark eyeshadow and apply it with a small, flat brush to double as liner.

3. Prepare to apply the eyeliner .

* If you are using a pencil, sharpen it (see Warnings). Warm and soften the very tip of the pencil by heating it with a hot zap from a hair dryer. This will help it write smoother.
* A liquid liner should be checked for clumps or excess.

4. *Prepare your smudging pencil and/or brushes.
* Prepare a cake (powder) liner or a dark eye shadow by applying a small amount of water (usually one or two drops) to your brush. Move the wet brush gently through your cake liner or dark shadow, holding the brush or pencil as you would hold a pen.

Rest the elbow of your dominant arm on a hard surface , and rest your wrist on your face.

Tilt your head back slightly and bring your eyes to a half-open state. This creates a good angle for application, while allowing you to see what you’re doing.
7. Use your left index finger (if you are right handed) or your right index finger (if you are left handed) and pull your eyelid gently to the side and slightly up, towards the far end of your eyebrow. This step is optional, because some people find it easier to draw accurately on a relaxed eye; also, stretching the eye may encourage wrinkling. To prevent the eyelid from shaking if you do not pull it, focus gently but intently on your eyes in the mirror. If you are applying eyeliner to someone else’s eyes, ask them to choose one spot on the wall to look at.

8. Draw a line across the upper lid on the lash line (as close to your lashes as possible while still on the lid). This creates the desired illusion of having thicker lashes.

9. If you’re using liquid liner, allow it to dry before opening your eyes all the way, or the color may transfer into the crease of your eye.

10. Soften the look by gently smudging the line with your brush, a cotton swab or your finger. If you desire a crisp, straight line, as is the case with liquid eyeliner, do not alter unless it’s messy. Any cleaning touch ups should be done with a cotton swab dipped in eye makeup remover.

11. Remember that there are many variations on eyeliner looks . If this is your first time, you might want to start with a smudged eyeliner look

Line the lower lids . Some people put the liner just below the lower lashes, while others prefer to put it on the rim of the eye, above the lashes (see Warnings), or even on the upper innerlash rim (if you’re super skilled, careful, and daring!). Moving from the outside edge inward, draw a line lightly, but don’t go for perfection, you can go back over the faint line and darken after the stroke. Your line should be slightly thicker at the outside corner, becoming thinner as it moves in toward your nose. Follow the shape of your eye! It looks more natural.

Need:
1 Sheet of computer paper. ( 8 1/2×11 is what I use. )
A pencil.
A ruler.
Maybe scissors, if you don’t like taking the chance of ripping it.

Use the ruler to measure the sides of the paper ( If you’re using mine, go by 8 1/2×8 1/2, if you’re a beginner, use 4×4. )

Directions:

To begin:

Fold the piece of paper and rip or cut across it. This will give you a few leftover pieces in which you can use later when you get this down! Then, you will have your square.

Let the origami begin!

Step 1:
Fold said square in half and cut.

Step two:
Fold each rectangle like a hotdog.

Step three:
Fold each hotdog folded rectangles in half, like a hamburger.

Step four:
Open the hamburger square rectangle thingies.

Step five:
Fold the one in your left hand’s lower part up and to the right. Fold the upper part down and to the left.

Step six:
Fold the bottom of you right hand’s paper up and to the left. Fold the top part down and to the right.

Step seven:
Flip both of them.

Step eight:
Fold the top right corner of your left hand down to where it makes a triangle at the top of your crane-like paper. Fold the bottom left corner up so it makes an upside down triangle.

Step nine:
Fold the upper left corner of your right hand’s down to make a triangle on the top. Fold the bottom right corner up to make an upside down triangle.

Step ten:
Take the one in your left hand and fold the upper triangle inwards as well as the lower triangle, do the same to the left one.

Step eleven:
Move them so they aren’t mirror images anymore.

Step twelve:
Flip the left one over and turn it ninety degrees to the left.

Step thirteen:
Pull the triangles out of the inward position, the one of the left should have them facing up, the right should be facing down.

Step fourteen:
Put the right one on top of the left one.

Step fifteen:
Fold one of the back spikes into one of the slits, flip it over and place one in the front, flip it over again and use the last one on the back, flip it over once more and place the last one into the last slit.

Finished!

Step 1:
You will need
1 body brush
1 water brush
1 bucket of water
1 mane comb
1 needle and plaiting thread. The same colour as your horse would be best.
2 elastic bands. Again the same colour as your horse would be best
1 bowl of one egg white – optional
1 bucket of water
1 pair if scissors

Step 2:
Tie your horse up
Begin by tying your horse up. Give him some hay, if you think he’ll need distracting, while you plait.

Step 3:
Brush the tail
With a body brush, thoroughly brush the tail. Hold the whole tail in one hand. And gradually brush through small sections of hair, at a time. Do not use mane and tail conditioner as this will make the tail hair too slippy to handle. Then comb the top of the tail and the sides of the tail with the mane comb.

Step 4:
Dampen the tail
Now dampen the water brush and brush the top of the tail. Alternatively you can dip your fingers in egg white and pull it through the top and the sides of the tail. Egg white makes the tail easier to handle. Plus it dries firm and shiny, like a gel!

Step 5:
Plait the tail
Beginning at the top of the tail, take a small section of hair from the left hand side. Take another section of hair from the middle. Then take another small section of hair from the right hand side. Plait once with the three sections. Then take another small section of hair from the left side and add it to the left side of the plait. Cross it over to the middle section of plait. Then pick up a small section of hair from the right side of the tail and add it to the right side of the plait. Then cross it all over to the middle section. Repeat the plaiting process, to three quarters of the way down his tail. Maintain even and constant pressure when plaiting each section and always keep the plait in the centre.
Give the dock, which is the tail bone a quick squeeze, to feel where you are. When you are three quarters of the way down, begin to plait the long remaining hair, as you would a normal plait, to the end of the tail.

Step 6:
Secure the tail
Secure the end with a few twists of a plaiting band. Fold the long plait once underneath. Now tuck the end of the normal plait under the French plait. Secure the top of the normal plait with your other plaiting band. You can also secure it by using a needle and thread with the end knotted. Start by sewing through the end of the plait and wind the cotton around twice. Then fold the plait underneath once. Stitch through the top. Now stitch down the centre of both plaits, making it into one plait. Sow down, neatly and evenly. Secure the end by looping the thread through one of the stitches and then loop the thread through once more. Finally cut the cotton with the scissors.
Never leave a plaited tail on overnight! Your horse will try to rub it off!
